Partner / Realtor®
Russell Nomura is the co-founding partner of Live South Bay Local, a full service real estate agency and division of Bayside Real Estate Partners. Before transitioning to what he calls his “dream career” in real estate, Russell worked for 25 years in the telecommunications industry, where he specialized in project management, contract administration, and operations. In addition to his experience and skills from the telecommunications field that transferred directly to his work in the real estate industry, Russell is the consummate communicator. He is known for his responsiveness and reliability and most importantly, always “putting the client first.”
Russell’s ability to manage multiple high-volume, high-profile accounts is proven in his sales numbers. In 2020, he had $23 million dollars in sales which included 23 sales, and over 47,000 square feet. In 2019, he made $15 million dollars in sales, including 9 sales, and over 26,000 square feet.
Russell is passionate about real estate because “everyday is a new challenge” and he “enjoys problem solving.” On any given day, he can be cutting a new sales video, showing a home, meeting with a client, or producing weekly real estate reports. But ultimately at the beginning and end of the day, he is about building relationships with people. On both the buyer and seller side, he believes “transparency and trust” are the keys to meeting his clients’ real estate and life needs.
Russell says that his most rewarding sale was helping a young, newlywed couple buy their first home and start their lives together in the competitive Southern California real estate market. His most challenging deal was selling an architecturally-unique home in Redondo Beach that ultimately sold for over $1.2 million.
Outside of real estate, Russell is a married father of two daughters who attend school in the South Bay. He enjoys running, working out, and training in boxing and kickboxing. He also loves spending time with his family, traveling to county fairs, and listening to live music.
“I love my job and I love helping people,” he says. “At the end of the day, I want to be a resource for all my clients.”
