About Lemonade Day:
Lemonade Day is a nationwide initiative aimed at teaching students the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. This exciting program empowers young minds by guiding them through the process of starting and running their own lemonade stand businesses. Participants will undergo training, obtain certification from the health department, receive financial education from our partners, and much more.

Who Can Participate:
In its second year in Hermosa Beach, Lemonade Day welcomes students in grades 3-8 from Hermosa schools or those residing in Hermosa Beach. It's all about fostering creativity, initiative, and business acumen among our youth.

Event Highlights:
Scheduled during the Hermosa Beach Spring Sidewalk Sale weekend, Lemonade Day coincides with a bustling atmosphere, ensuring maximum exposure and opportunities for our student entrepreneurs. Visitors and locals alike can look forward to discovering a variety of lemonade stands throughout Hermosa Beach. As an added bonus, patrons can participate in a competition by voting for their favorite booth and even win prizes for visiting multiple stands!

Supporting Our Young Entrepreneurs:
The winning student will also have the chance to compete at a national level, showcasing Hermosa Beach's entrepreneurial spirit on a broader stage.

All lemonade stands featured on Lemonade Day have completed our rigorous program and are certified to operate on this special day. This event is not intended to encourage spontaneous lemonade stand setups, but rather to show support for the dedicated students who have undergone the entrepreneurial program.
